Layers

The composition of this song started with the idea of building layers around myself -- through pride, isolation, selfishness etc. After a short while I realised that God's desire to pull away my layers was stronger than my own to build them up, so I rewrote the song from the ground up, focusing the attention on His ability to strip off the layers upon layers that I have built up around myself.
